Meet Dr. Leslie
After a 16 year career teaching at risk high school students, Dr. Leslie opened her holistic practice. She earned a PhD in Natural Health Sciences writing a dissertation focusing on the gut-brain connection. She received certification as a Life Strategies Coach and a Holistic Wellness Coach, along with training in a form of Neuro-Linguistic Programming called Hemispheric Integration. She has additional training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). She uses her experience in education, nutrition and coaching for a unique approach to educating others in total body wellness. She holds an undergraduate degree in Education which she used in her former 16 year career working with adolescents diagnosed with learning disabilities, ADHD and depression. Her master's degree is in the area of Professional Counseling.
Dr. Leslie is a member of The American Nutraceutical Association and is DSHEA Certified (Dietary Supplement Health and Education), a Certified Nutritional Consultant and Certified Yoga Instructor.
In addition, Dr. Leslie is a member of ADP-Association of Drugless Practitioners and a member of the International Society for Neurofeedback & Research (ISNR).
Her areas of focus are intestinal health, adrenal fatigue, stress management, brain health and anxiety. Her passion is helping bring awareness to those struggling with unwanted and unexplained health challenges. Her own personal journey gives her a unique perspective and understanding of her clients’ frustrations.
Dr. Leslie sees clients on an individual basis at her Nashville location. while offering phone/skype sessions for those living out of the area. She gives back to her community with local wellness and yoga classes and is available for corporate trainings and speaking.
